A bronze portrait bust of Glynn Lunney, the NASA flight director known by his call sign "Black Flight," whose career in Mission Control spanned the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs.
The bust was presented to Mission Control Center Houston by the men of Glynn's Flight Dynamics. It is mounted on a wooden base bearing the inscription: In memory of Glynn Lunney, "Black Flight" — Mercury, Gemini, Apollo.
